ความแตกต่างระหว่างยา dicloxacillin และ cloxacillin

Cloxacillin และ Dicloxacillin เป็นยาปฏิชีวนะในกลุ่ม Penicillinase-resistant penicillins ซึ่งเชื้อที่ไวต่อยาในกลุ่มนี้คือ Staph. Aureus ที่สร้างเอนไซม์ penicillinase และ Staph. Epidermidis รวมทั้งเชื้อ streptococci1 โดยความแตกต่างทางด้านขนาดยาและข้อมูลทาง Pharmacokinetics และ Pharmacodynamics มีดังนี้ 2,3,4

จากข้อมูลข้างต้นจะเห็นได้ว่า dicloxacillin ดูดซึมได้ดีกว่า และกระจายตัวของยาไปยังเนื้อเยื่อ ต่าง ๆ ได้ดีกว่า cloxacillin แต่ค่าเหล่านี้ไม่ได้ต่างกันเป็น 2 เท่า ดังนั้น dicloxacillin ไม่ได้มีฤทธิ์เป็นสองเท่าของ cloxacillin
